The Saskatchewan Health Authority aims to position itself as a high performer and leader across the country in terms of the care that is delivered to patients and the results that are achieved. Our goal is to create a system that enables health-care providers to ensure every patient, client and resident receives high-quality, timely care, regardless of where they live. That goal remains at the forefront of every decision made.
As a health system we are committed to Better Health, Better Care, Better Value and Better Teams for the people of Saskatchewan.
Healthy People, Healthy Saskatchewan.
We work together to improve our health and well-being. Every day. For everyone.
Our values will be at the heart of everything that we do. They will inspire, empower and guide how we work together with patients, families, health partners and each other to achieve excellence in patient-centred care.
Before defining the core values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority, it is important to understand how employees, physicians, patients, families, communities, Indigenous partners, health providers and external stakeholders perceive our current culture, and what they aspire for our provincial health system’s future state.
We are embarking on a province-wide values consultation process that involves patients, employees, physicians, health partners and key stakeholders to help us define and align the shared organizational values of SHA. This is an opportunity to identify our core values and engage with one another on how we, as a provincial health system, can embed and live our values, each and every day.
To support our Strategic Direction, we are asking for your help to identify the core values that will bring life to the organizational culture we aspire to create. An organization's core values are the deeply ingrained principles that guide all of an organization's choices and actions. While circumstances may change, ideally our values will not.
Please take a few minutes to complete the SHA Core Values Survey and let us know what matters to you and what principles you live by to ensure that Saskatchewan patients, residents, clients and families receive the highest standard of care. As you provide your feedback, please keep in mind what matters most to you about the Saskatchewan healthcare system.
We value your opinion and appreciate you taking the time to complete this survey. Together, we will transform health care for the people of Saskatchewan.
