Our web renewal project is fully underway. When launched in December 2020,
the new saskhealthauthority.ca website will replace the 12 existing websites of former health regions in Saskatchewan. These health region sites will be retired at the end of March, 2021.
Our goal is to create a seamless, integrated online experience for patients and residents of Saskatchewan. Designing our new site around the needs and wants of our patients and families is critical, and we will be seeking feedback from users every step of the way.

Our goal is to publish useful, purposeful, trustworthy content that helps support the health and well-being of everyone in Saskatchewan. We achieve this through our content strategy. This strategy guides the planning, creation, delivery and governance of useful, usable content. This includes the words, images and multimedia that users see, read or experience.
When the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) launched operations on December 4, 2017, a plan was developed to transition from the websites of 12 former health regions into a single website. This project was split into two phases. The first phase was an initial high level website that supplemented the content on former health region websites; this is what you see on saskhealthauthority.ca today. The second phase is the complete replacement and retirement of health region websites, ensuring all residents of Saskatchewan have access to the same information in one place, no matter whether you're in Pelican Narrows or Pilot Butte.
Engagement activities were held in early 2019. The findings of this were summarized in a web renewal recommendations report. This report is shaping the desired future state of our new, permanent website.
