Ambulance crews from Hudson Bay, Porcupine Plain and Tisdale were dispatched this morning to the location of the train derailment. EMS crews worked with the railway to reach the site of the derailment, as it was not accessible by road.
Twenty-one individuals were transported to the Hudson Bay Health Centre. All of the patients have been assessed, treated for their injuries and have been discharged from the emergency department. No patients required admission to hospital.
