Due to localized flooding that occurred in Swift Current last night in the area of the E.I. Wood Building, all Saskatchewan Health Authority programs, services, and client appointments are unavailable at this location on Wednesday, June 19. There is a possibility that the disruption to services will last longer than today but an update will be provided once the situation in the building has been fully assessed.
Appointments scheduled for public health nursing and inspection, chronic disease education, nutritionist, midwifery, and mental health and addictions will be rescheduled. One of our staff members will be in contact with all clients affected to reschedule.
If you are experiencing an urgent or emergent health situation, please call 9-1-1 for immediate assistance. For other non-emergent health-related questions, please contact the provincial HealthLine by dialing 8-1-1. Staff are available to assist you 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
If you have a question regarding availability of service, please call 306.778.5101 for more information.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may create and we appreciate your understanding during this unanticipated weather-related situation.
