The Saskatchewan Health Authority would like to advise residents of Arcola and surrounding area that the disruption to emergency and acute care services at Arcola Health Centre will be lifted effective 7 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2021. Emergency services and acute care patient admissions will resume at that time.
Due to increased COVID-19 activity in the Weyburn area and required realignment of health services to support patient care, emergency and acute care services at Arcola Health Centre were temporarily unavailable. Arcola physicians and staff members were redeployed to support the SHA’s pandemic response.
While the COVID-19 vaccine is distributed across the province in a targeted, phased approach, Saskatchewan residents are reminded that they are the first line of defense in stopping the spread of COVID-19 and their actions make all the difference in protecting all of our families, friends and neighbours.
