SHA Service Alerts: Service Resumptions
Most services that were previously stopped due to the Covid-19 pandemic have now resumed. Disrupted services are listed on the service alerts map. The service alerts map also includes visitor restrictions (family presence) that are in place in a community or specific facility.
When accessing any of our facilities during the Covid-19 pandemic you:
- will be pre-screened or screened on arrival at the facility entrance
- may be offered an opportunity to reschedule depending on screening results
- may experience an increased wait time for your exam
- may be asked to book an appointment for your exam even if you normally wouldn’t require one (e.g. general X-ray)
- may be asked to come back at a later time if you arrive when the waiting room is already full
- may be asked to wait in your car and called in when we are ready for you
- will be provided with medical grade procedure mask which you are required to wear, if tolerated
You may phone any facility to confirm if a service is available. This is encouraged before travelling.
