A Mental Health and Psychosocial Support team has developed a program to support physicians in dealing with the pandemic's psychosocial effects, from transitory distress to more serious disorders. The continuum of supports includes information on COVID-19 planning, readiness, operations and transitioning post-pandemic. If needed, physicians can access support through the Saskatchewan Medical Association's Physician Health Program.
Physicians can access direct support through the Saskatchewan Medical Association's
Physician Health Program or by contacting Brenda Senger (306-657-4553) in Saskatoon and north or Jessica Richardson (306-359-2750) in Regina and the south.
