The season of giving is here and the staff and residents of Quill Plains Centennial Lodge and Health Centre in Watson found a great way to help improve the lives of others.
From left: Donna Rothlander (occupational and physical therapy assistant), Dianne Eisner (manager) and Christina Hutchinson (continuing care aide) at the Quill Plains Centennial Lodge in Watson, load a vehicle with donated blankets and afghans for the trip to the Saskatoon Salvation Army.
A recent quilt and afghan drive in the home resulted in 60 blankets that were then donated to the Salvation Army in Saskatoon. Those blankets will be shared among several emergency shelters around Saskatoon over the coming weeks.
Thank you to everyone who helped to make life a little easier for those in need this holiday season.
