The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and Health Quality Council (HQC) invite you to attend a public screening of the film Falling Through the Cracks: Greg’s Story on March 7 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Broadway Theatre in Saskatoon.
Falling Through the Cracks: Greg’s Story is a short film about Greg Price’s journey through a disconnected health care system that ended in his unexpected and tragic death. Despite the sadness of Greg’s story, the intention of the film is to inspire positive change and improvement in the health care system. Members of Greg’s family will be attending the screening in Saskatoon to answer questions about Greg’s journey and to share ways in which his story has already affected change in the health system.
Following the 30-minute film, there will be a panel discussion involving leaders in the Saskatchewan health care system, who will discuss what we can learn from Greg’s Story and what positive changes we can make to prevent something similar from happening in this province. It is important to hear from our staff, physicians and community on where current gaps may exist and ways in which we can encourage and provide a welcoming environment for patients to be actively engaged in their care.
Admission is free, but please register online to reserve your ticket
