Virtual Visit at Home
Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is getting a new video-conferencing platform called "Saskatchewan Virtual Visit". Just like Pexip, it connects health-care providers to patients and their families with online video and audio.

What is a Virtual Visit?
A virtual visit is like a regular medical appointment; the only difference is that you will see and talk to your health-care provider from the comfort of your home.
Virtual visits use a technology called video-conferencing, which lets people connect in real-time with online video and audio.
Top 3 health areas doing Virtual Visits:
- Mental Health & Addictions
- Speech Language Pathology
- Tuberculosis Prevention
Ask your health-care provider if a Virtual Visit is an option for you!
What do I need for a Virtual Visit?
Virtual visits are easy to do!
If you have a personal email address and access to the internet, have a personal computer with a webcam, speaker and microphone, or a smartphone/tablet - you've got all the skills and equipment.
Is a Virtual Visit private?
Just like in-person appointments, your virtual visit is safe and secure. Your privacy is important to us. We recommend you find a private space before joining your Virtual Visit:
