How do I start a Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) policy or procedure?
All SHA policy and procedure development is facilitated by the Policy Office.
For requesting a new policy or procedure, fill out the Policy Intake Questionnaire so that our Policy Team can assess your needs. For any other requests or questions, contact Policy Office at policy@saskhealthauthority.ca

What is an SHA Policy?
SHA policies are the written rules that explain what SHA team members must do. Policies explain what:
- patients and partners can expect from the SHA;
- team members can expect from the SHA; and
- the SHA expects from team members.
Policies set expectations and assign responsibilities to help the SHA deliver quality, consistent, best practice care and service.
