The Strategic Reporting and Service Planning portfolio serves four key functions:
Strategic & Provincial Performance Reporting
Enable executive and Board decision-making through coordinated, accurate, and aligned reporting.
- Lead enterprise, executive, Board, and provincial strategic reporting.
- Establish, maintain and mature the SHA’s Quality and Safety Measurement Framework, providing a timely, reliable reporting mechanism for leadership.
- Establish, maintain and mature an integrated enterprise performance measurement framework that links strategic goals to daily operations.
- In collaboration with other portfolios, we track, analyze, and report on progress against strategic priorities and accountabilities.
Service Planning & Strategic Facilitation
Enable effective service planning through strong process design and facilitation.
- Maintain, mature and continuously improve the service planning framework.
- Facilitate and design the service planning processes across portfolios.
- Advance operational and clinical service planning through customized support.
Drive Continuous Improvement through Visual Management
Cascade and use data and information for problem-solving, learning, and improvement.
- Bring the right stakeholders together to interpret performance data and drive actions toward improvements.
- Facilitate structured performance discussions to solve problems and celebrate success through Visual Management and Cascading Wall Walks.
- Build a culture of transparency, accountability, and learning.
- Support the alignment and cascade of standardized reporting structures (i.e. Wall Walks and Visual Management) to ensure that information is accessible at the right level of the organization.
Steward strategic priorities in response to emerging system needs.
