The Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) – Adults clinical procedure establishes a standardized, evidence-informed approach to FEES practice across the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA). It provides clinicians with clear guidance for assessment, implementation, and reporting, addressing the current lack of standardized documentation. Effective July 23, 2026, this procedure will support safe, consistent, and high-quality swallowing assessment practices across the organization.
