Provincial Alignment of Clinical Forms
A phased rollout of acute care provincial clinical forms is starting June 30, 2026. Refer to the latest Information Bulletin below for more information on upcoming roll outs.
The goal is to improve how we document care across the province:
- Minimize duplication – forms are designed to work together
- Simplify documentation – fewer, more consistent forms
- Improve quality and safety – aligned with documentation standards
- Support audits and legal requirements
- Prepare for electronic charting
- Ensure consistency across sites - makes patient transitions and staff orientation easier
Use existing form stock until depleted, unless instructed to discard, to reduce waste and minimize workflow disruption.
