ICRA – Resource Library
The Individual Client Risk Assessment (ICRA) Program is designed to empower Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) staff to assess, communicate and mitigate the risk of violence from individuals in real time, to help protect themselves and others in the workplace.
The ICRA is a part of a program rollout within the SHA in the next three years and is a small piece of our commitment to keeping providers, patients and the public safe from injuries and harm.
Additional ICRA Resources will be added to this page as they become available.

Which de-escalation techniques can staff use when faced with an agitated patient?
The SHA provides education, training, and resources as part of a comprehensive workplace violence prevention training program.
Refer to your local Quality and Safety Department to register for specific violence prevention and/or other workplace safety training.
Additional online resources are available to support team members and Supervisors or Managers in dealing with their own response to adverse situations and to help with defusing and debriefing after a violent incident occurs.
