- Strategic communications, community engagement and marketing planning, advice and implementation, including major province-wide health campaigns
- Official Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) publication preparation and distribution (SHA News, Annual Report, etc.)
- Organization-wide internal and external news development and distribution
- Media relations including relationship development/maintenance, news conferences, interview co-ordination, spokesperson training/coaching, news tracking and metrics, etc.
- Corporate social media channel content management, monitoring and responding
- Social media platform management including analytics, requests for SHA branded social media channels
- Identification/management of potential/emerging public relations issues
- Crisis communications (support of Incident Command / Emergency Operations Centre)
- Refinement of operational key messages
- Support for external speaking engagements for executive and senior leaders (key messages, speeches, speaking notes, presentations)
- Administrative ownership and management of the SHA public and internal websites
- SHA logo and brand management including template development and maintenance
- Liaising with communications counterparts in the municipal, provincial and federal governments as well as with partner organizations (HQC, 3sHealth, eHealth, etc.)
