The law of medical assistance in dying (MAID) continues to evolve. This webinar will provide an overview of the Criminal Code of Canada’s provisions on MAID, court decisions about the provisions, and the two sets of eligibility criteria and procedural safeguards: one for those whose natural death is reasonably foreseeable, and one for those whose natural death is not reasonably foreseeable. The webinar will conclude with what to watch for as the law of MAID continues to evolve.
