Role overview
You are invited to participate in a facilitated workshop focused on an electronic medical record, the Saskatchewan Anesthesia Management System (SAMS), and what considerations are needed for a smoother implementation in Saskatchewan. The workshops will be hosted virtually on Zoom.
Required knowledge, experience, skills
Patient participants who have gone through a a surgery requiring an anesthetic (regional or general anesthesia), or are interested in helping inform the processes for implementing SAMS.Time commitment
The workshop would require up to 90 minutes of your time.
Location
The workshop will be held virtually over Zoom.
What can you expect from the research team?
The researchers will ensure the confidentiality of the discussion.
Supports available to participate
Several of the researchers involved in the study are healthcare providers in Saskatoon, Regina, and the surrounding areas. Your participation/non-participation in this study will not affect the current or future medical care that you receive, or your relationships with members of the research team in any way.
