About This Facility
Royal University Hospital (RUH) is located on the University of Saskatchewan campus located off College Drive near the top of the University Bridge in Saskatoon.
It opened on Saturday, May 14, 1955 during a public ceremony officiated by then Premier Tommy Douglas. The seven-wing, seven-story hospital took eight years to build.
Parking
The primary visitor parking area is the RUH parkade. Visitors and patients (members of the public) may park on Levels P3, P4 and P5.
Parking stalls for people with disability parking permits, Saskatoon Cancer Centre permits and new and expecting mothers are located on Levels P3 and P5.
There are also a limited amount of visitor parking spots, near the Dubé Centre, in front of Ellis Hall and at the old main entrance (1955 Building).
Vehicles over 1.9 metres in height do not fit in the parkade. We have oversize vehicle parking just to the south of Ellis Hall
