What is it like working as a Pathologists’ Assistant with the Saskatchewan Health Authority?
Working as a Pathologists’ Assistant with the Saskatchewan Health Authority you are a highly valued and important health professional working in the laboratory gross room. We receive a variety of simple to complex specimens and have lots of variety for our competencies. We work closely with pathologists and develop relationships with them regarding patient specimens and care. We have a very busy, fast paced environment that can be quite demanding and stressful at times as the number of path assistants we have for this specialized job is very limited (which is why we need you to join our team!). We are not involved in autopsy or frozen sections, but we have many surgical specimens to take up all our time.
What can I earn as a Pathologists’ Assistant ?
The current rate of pay per hour is listed below:
- $44.50 to 47.67
