RUH Emergency Department waiting room re-opens

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is focused on providing safe, quality care to the people of Saskatchewan at its facilities.

A waiting room in the emergency department at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon has re-opened following repairs. A water leak on August 6, 2026, resulted in the temporary closure of the waiting room and an alternate waiting room was established adjacent to the closed area. There was no impact to emergency department operations.
