General Clinic Information
- Bring your valid health card and government-issued photo identification (for ages 18+).
- If you do not have photo ID you may provide two pieces of alternate identification such as a provincial health card, birth certificate, social insurance card, naturalization certificate, marriage certificate, etc.
- Children are only required to provide a provincial health card, but parents/caregivers may be required to show photo ID.
- If you have flu or COVID-19 symptoms please stay home until you are symptom-free before planning your vaccination.
- Wear a short-sleeved shirt.
- Bring a mask with you. If the clinic is inside an SHA facility you will be required to wear a mask at all times.
- Plan for the weather. While it is unlikely that you may have to wait outside, it is possible, so be prepared to protect yourself from the elements.
- You will be asked to clean your hands upon entrance.
- It is important to maintain a physical distance of at least 2 metres (6 feet) from others - except those you live with.
- Expect to stay 15 minutes after your vaccine.
- Consent forms, where required, are available at clinic locations.
Influenza Clinic Information
- Anyone six months and older can receive the influenza vaccine.
- Children younger than 5 years of age must be immunized at an SHA clinic for both flu and COVID-19.
- All residents 65 years of age and older are eligible to receive the Fluzone High-Dose influenza vaccine.
COVID-19 Clinic Information
- A COVID-19 vaccine is available to anyone who meets current vaccine eligibility.
- If you are self-isolating as a close contact of a COVID-19 case confirmed either through rapid antigen or PCR testing and are asymptomatic, you are exempted from your self-isolation for the purpose of getting a COVID-19 vaccination only.
