Registering an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Register your AED and help save a life!
During a cardiac arrest, every second counts. When your AED is registered with the Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) Program, 911 dispatchers can immediately direct bystanders to your device before paramedics arrive.
How to Register
- Click the Public Access Defibrillation Program AED Registration Form (PDF) below in 'Related Documents'.
- Save the form to your computer (for example to your ‘Downloads’ folder).
- (Optional) Opening it with a PDF reader (such as Adobe Acrobat) ensures the 'Submit' button works.
- Complete all required fields on the form.
- Click the 'Submit' button or email it directly to PAD@saskhealthauthority.ca.
- A PAD coordinator will send a confirmation email that the registration form was received and entered into the registry.
