Role overview
As a patient partner co-facilitator, you will work with the SCPOR Patient Engagement Specialist to adapt the Maritime SPOR SUPPORT Unit (MSSU) POR Practicum for SCPOR. Your experience as a patient partner in a research project will provide the foundation for the learning outcomes and you will draw from that lived experience as you co-facilitate the training with the Patient Engagement Specialist.
The practicum introduces how SCPOR supports patient-oriented research in Saskatchewan, builds understanding of patient engagement and the value of patient-oriented research among researchers and patient partners, and provides practical skills for learning together.
We are selecting one patient partner at this time, but additional co-facilitators for the POR Practicum may be engaged in in the future, so feel free to respond with your details and availability.
