Recognizing Paramedic teams behind emergency calls
Paramedic Services Week recognizes the frontline EMS professionals who continue to answer some of life’s biggest calls with skill, compassion and unwavering dedication.
Across Saskatchewan, paramedics respond to emergencies every day under challenging and unpredictable conditions; bringing critical care directly to patients and communities when it matters most.
Over the past year, Saskatchewan Health Authority EMS teams helped achieve 83 successful cardiac arrest resuscitations and safely delivered 19 babies in the field.
“Cheers to all frontline EMS staff during EMS Week,” said Jennifer Elias-White, Deputy Chief/EMS Operations Manager, Southeast, Saskatchewan Health Authority. “Your commitment, professionalism, and compassion are evident in every long shift, late night, and unpredictable call you respond to, often under challenging and demanding conditions. Through it all, you continue to provide exceptional care and support to your patients and communities every day. The dedication, resilience, and care you bring to every call make a meaningful difference. Thank you for everything you do.”
