Spring COVID-19 immunization eligibility
Beginning April 1, moderately to severely immunocompromised adults and children remain eligible for immunization with COVID-19 vaccine until June 15, 2026.
From April 1 to June 15, 2026, the following individuals are eligible to receive one additional COVID-19 vaccine dose at least eight weeks from their last dose:
- All adults 65 years of age and older;
- Adult residents, 18 years of age and older, in long-term care homes, private care homes, and other group living settings where seniors reside; and,
- Individuals six months of age and older who are moderately to severely immunocompromised due to an underlying condition or treatment.
COVID-19 vaccines are proven to be very effective at preventing severe COVID-related illness, hospitalization and death and can decrease the risk of Long COVID symptoms. (also known as post-COVID-19 condition).
For eligible individuals, COVID-19 vaccination appointments are available through Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) clinics, and at participating pharmacies throughout the province. For assistance scheduling an appointment, call 1-833-727-5829 between 8:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.
