Clinical Pathways
Clinical Pathways are useful tools for patients and clinicians to better understand the care options available for various health issues. Clinical pathways help ensure patients receive appropriate and timely care. When developed collaboratively by patients and providers, pathways can be an effective communication tool, improve access to services, and improve patient experiences and outcomes.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is in the preliminary stages of transitioning all clinical pathway work from the Ministry of Health. The services included are listed below. During this time, we will be reviewing both the integration of this work within the current SHA structure, as well as formulating a provincial framework that will guide future pathway development.
NEW PROCESS IN EFFECT MARCH 1, 2022
Please note that effective March 1, 2022, the reorder and storage of printed materials that are designated within each clinical pathway have been transitioned from the Ministry of Health to the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
For replenishment of your inventory, we are asking users to reorder materials using the Clinical Pathway Provincial Print Shop Order Form (SHA 0198) below. Once your order has been placed, the materials will be shipped via regular mail. If you have any questions, please contact us at the clinical pathway email.
