Role overview
Our team at the University of Saskatchewan studies diabetes. We seek to understand how hormone-producing cells function and adapt in diabetes, with the goal of developing new therapies for patients. To help ensure our research remains focused on the needs and priorities of people affected by diabetes, we are seeking patient partners — individuals with lived experience of diabetes, whether as a person living with the condition, a caregiver, or a family member. What would you do? • Listen to us talk about our research and tell us what you think. Is it clear? Does it matter to you? • Tell us about your experience living with diabetes. What do you wish researchers knew? • Help us figure out the best ways to get the word out — community events, websites, newsletters, or something else?
