Possible Hepatitis A Exposure at The Saskatoon Club
The Saskatchewan Health Authority has confirmed a case of Hepatitis A in an employee at The Saskatoon Club located at 417 21st Street East in Saskatoon.
The period of potential exposure for customers and staff of this establishment is February 25 to March 18, 2026.
Hepatitis A is a liver infection caused by a virus. It is typically spread through consumption of contaminated food or water or through close contact with an infected individual.
Monitor for Symptoms
Anyone who may have consumed food or drinks from this establishment during the dates listed above are advised to:
- Monitor for symptoms of Hepatitis A for up to 50 days after your last exposure.
- Symptoms may include loss of appetite, dark urine, light-coloured stool, tiredness, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, and jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes). Some people, especially young children, may get Hepatitis A infection without noticing any symptoms; however, they are still infectious to others.
If you are experiencing or develop symptoms consistent with Hepatitis A, please seek medical assessment promptly. Inform your healthcare provider that you may have been exposed to Hepatitis A.
