• Alternate collection container: Urine - Sterile Starplex container or similar container

Collection procedure

• First morning collection preferred

Required volume

• Optimal volume: 10 mL random urine
• Minimum volume: 1 mL random urine

(Submitting the minimum volume makes it impossible to repeat the test or perform confirmatory/reflex testing. In some situations, a minimum volume may require a second collection.)

• 2 days at 2 – 8°C
