Collection procedure

• Refer to 24 hour urine collection procedure
• Keep specimen cool during collection and after aliquotting
• If submitting aliquot of 24 hour urine, provide volume and dates and times of collection
   

Required volume

• Optimal volume: 15 mL

• Keep specimen cool

• Specimens received where the proper collection protocols were not followed
