Plasma manganese is the preferred specimen for monitoring manganese exposure. Urine is not recommended.
Random or 24 hour urine collection are acceptable

If submitting aliquot of 24 hour urine, provide volume and dates and times of collection

Optimal Volume: 15 mL (24 hour urine)
Optimal Volume: 50 mL (random urine)
