Bladder Traction – Clinical Resources

The Bladder Traction clinical documents are available for training beginning September 2, 2026, with implementation scheduled for September 16, 2026. These documents establish a standardized provincial approach to bladder traction care, replacing legacy policies and nursing procedures across the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA).

The procedure supports safe, consistent practice while enabling LPNs, RNs, and RPNs to work to their full scope of practice through standardized education and competency requirements.
